Success in Business & Body Language – Part #6

Energy and Body Language

Your Body Language will be influenced by the 3 most important forms of energy which we all need if we want to function.

Energy and Food

The first important form of creation of energy is through the consuming of food and liquids.

The kind of food and drinks we consume will stimulate or disrupt our level of energy and therefore have an incredibly influence on our Body Language.

Our current food industry adds so much sugar to their products, on the one hand to make it taste better but on the other hand, to give people a certain degree of addiction to their products. The up's and downs of our sugar level requires continuous creation of insulin, in order to let the sugar enter the cells. This creates high and low peaks of energy.

I would be able to spend a whole chapter on sugar and energy, however, it’s a fact though, that too many of the wrong sugars have an incredibly negative effect on our energy level. Could it be that too much sugar influences our metabolism, state of mind and… yes, our Body Language?

Energy and Oxygen

The second important form of creation of energy is oxygen.

According the WHO, World Health Organization, the air pollution is rising at an alarming rate in world’s cities. Outdoor pollution has risen 8% in 5 years with fast-growing cities in the developing world and billions of people around the world exposed to dangerous air. The world population is currently at 7.7 Billion for 2019-2020 and growing at a rate of around 1.08% per year. The current average population increase is estimated at 82 million people per year.

The quality and amount of oxygen that we consume daily will influence our energy level as well. The air we breath contains about 20% oxygen. We only consume 6% or even less.

It is therefore so that oxygen plays a large role in the amount of energy we desire, get and consume with our body, day in and day out! An individual can live without food for about 40 days, however, without oxygen, we would most likely choke after a minute.

Energy and Thoughts

The third form of generating energy are our thoughts.

Researchers in brain-science explain that what you do and say is temporary, however, what you’re convinced of, in other words, what you believe, will define who you are, how you exist and how your direct environment will look like, the connections, the friends, your daily activities, in short, everything will be a direct reflection of what you believe.

Our conscious and subconscious mind and thinking will boost or disrupt our energy. It’s a fact that our thinking influences our Body Language, however, our Body Language also influences our thinking. It’s that Body Language that will attract or push people away.

Reading Body Language

Picture 1 - Do you remember when you got into the car to learn to drive for the first time?

Or when you got offered a new challenge for the first time?

Scratching the neck or ventilation reduces stress.

__________________________________________________________________________________ Picture 2 - I remember myself very well when the time I had to jump, and yes with a parachute on the back. All these snapshots are moments of emotional discomfort, doubt or uncertainty.

Scratching the neck or ventilation reduces stress.

_________________________________________________________________________________ Picture 3 - On a beautiful summer day, a fly could get into your eye, however, this is rather a reaction of a person who does not understand your point of view, this is why he/she scratches at the height of the eye.

Picture 4 - This person does not understand your point of view, this is why he/she scratches at the height of the eye and when the eyes are closed, the person doesn’t understand you and does not and will not take it likely.

Remember

Your Body Language will be influenced by the 3 most important forms of energy which we all need if we want to function.

Food, oxygen and thoughts are the basis of that particular energy that we produce and finally send out. Where the traditional world of thinking ends, we start!
